This priority simulator tool is being run as part of Glasgow City Council's Public Conversation on Glasgow's transport future in September-October 2020. All information gathered will be used to inform the development of a new Glasgow Transport Strategy, a new City Centre Transformation Plan and a new Liveable Neighbourhoods Plan. You can find out more at www.glasgow.gov.uk/connectingcommunities

The concepts presented in this priority simulator tool are not commitments by the Council. They are examples of the types of transport improvements that can be made in cities. The Council also does not have the powers to deliver all the transport improvements included in this tool, and they are shown for illustrative purposes (for example in relation to rail). Further work will be required to develop and assess the best solutions for Glasgow, and this work will form part of the Glasgow Transport Strategy, the City Centre Transformation Plan and the Liveable Neighbourhoods Plan for the city. This simulator is being run to help citizens engage with the challenge of allocating a finite number of points to different transport areas, and the results will help the Council understand priorities and trade-offs.

Please be aware that Glasgow City Council is required to process personal information in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For more information about this please visit https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=22066.

Please be aware that this work is being done in partnership with Sustrans. All results from the simulator will be anonymised in reporting and your information will only be used for the purposes of the Connecting Communities workstream, which is the development of the new transport plans noted above.
